All scanning runs in your browser. Photos are not uploaded to Scanner servers for processing.

How to make a slit-scan image
Create an analog-style slit-scan export in five steps.
- Load a photo — Import an image from your device into the canvas.
- Frame the scan — Pan, pinch-zoom, and rotate so the subject sits under the scan line.
- Tune the strip — Set speed, thickness, drag, and jitter for the look you want.
- Choose a tone — Pick Color, B/W, or Sepia and adjust contrast, noise, and chromatic aberration.
- Scan and export — Start the scan, then download PNG or JPEG when it finishes.
